Dr. Ai-Quoc Heller, a Podiatrist in our group that works most frequently with Dr. Thomman Kuruvilla. I have been to see the Dr Heller on several occasions to have my feet evaluated for pain and to have my toe nails clipped. My experience is always excellent. He is very knowledable and personable. He has been able to resolve any issues that I asked him about. His staff is professional yet friendly. Since getting older and having knee pain I have not been able to clip my toe nails. On a budget it is not always possible to go for regular pedicures. Since I am pre diabetic it is comforting to have a professional evaluate and trim my toe nails I do not want to get an infection. I would highly recommend Dr Heller and with my 50 years in the medical field I feel my option is based on knowledge.

Dr Heller was down to earth not smug or beat around the bush kinda doc. He came in looked at my foot after looking at my X-rays and broke the news of surgery. Explained what needed to be done and told me everything I needed to know. He is very knowledgeable with his procedure. Which made me feel more at ease. I was a new patient and went to the wrong address and Dr. Heller's office were kind enough to change my appointment for an hour later which allowed me to get to the correct location. I've seen Dr. Heller a number of times for Achilles issues, however today's appt. was for a new issue in the other foot. His medical assistant was very pleasant, the x-ray tech was efficient and friendly, and Dr. Heller was his usual upbeat friendly self. He quickly diagnosed the problem, did an ultrasound and cortisone injection, sent a script to my pharmacy, and set a 2 week follow-up. I've never had anything but a professional, very friendly, courteous interaction with anyone at AOSM, including front desk staff, back-office medical personnel, Dr. Heller and his assistant, and Dr. Brady, his PA Angela, and their entire staff. I trust both doctors implicitly with my orthopedic care, and appreciate their always-cautious and conservative courses of treatment. Although they're 18 miles away, I won't go to anyone else!

Doctor Heller was great. Didn't immediately assume it was a ruptured achilles and schedule and MRI and/or surgery. He had me do some tests on the leg to get a better idea. There is some swelling so he put me in a walking boot and I'm going back in a week to see how it looks. The whole staff was great and I was in and out in a timely manner. Dr. Heller works out of a small office with only one receptionist and a couple of other support staff, as well as an x-ray machine. My appointments with Dr. Heller have all been on time, have run smoothly, and I have always left in at least as good a mood as when I came in. The doctor is very friendly and has excellent bedside manner, and is willing to listen to the finer details of what has caused your injury. Out of several dozen different primary doctors and specialists I've seen over the past fifteen or so years, Dr. Heller is definitely in the top five in all areas. If you are having any kind of foot problems, from the relatively minor to more serious problems like I have, I cannot recommend Dr. Heller enough.
