Dr Liu and his team are beyond awesome! My initial meeting with him was with a broken shoulder 9 years ago. He is very caring and explains everything to you and makes sure you are onboard with treatment plan. I have since needed to replace the opposite shoulder and both knees and Dr Liu always checks in on you both before and after surgery. Megan and Jenny are amazing with procedures while Lupe handles the office side with medications, authorization and always responded to your text/call right away to make sure that your needs are addressed. This week marks the eighth week since my surgery. Ashley was extremely helpful in getting me an appointment. Despite the numbers of people in the office, the office and staff were very efficient in getting you checked in, and quickly to your exam room. Dr. Liu will be doing my second full shoulder replacement soon and I wouldn’t trust another surgeon to do this surgery. My first replacement gave me back my ability to do the things I love again, like kayaking, paddle boarding, doing upper body workouts and many other activities. I recently underwent a total knee replacement with Dr Liu as my surgeon. I have had severe bone-on-bone in both knees for years. Dr Liu and his staff have been treating me for pain as I struggled with the prospect of surgery and also not being able to care for my husband, even temporarily, who suffers from a brain disease. Dr. Liu is so thorough, kind, and professional. He consistently explains alternative treatments and helps create a plan of care that works best for you. I knew I was in good hands, but even more so through the surgical experience. It is exactly two weeks post-op, and I am walking, bending my operated knee 100 degrees and ready to start outpatient therapy. My second knee will be next and I am looking forward to being able to walk, hike and climb stairs without excruciating pain that has severely limited my activity for the past few years. The PA who provided the injection was gentle and explained what she was doing as she did so. My visit was at the Advance Way location. Dr Liu is a specialist out right. I came to him with a torn rotar cuff from and accident. The problem was it already had been repaired 10 year Eller. He made me do physical therapy first. He then told me that I would need to have surgery and he was not sure how it would turn out. But 7 months later. I can say the Man works miracle. I now have about 75 to 80 % motion and my strength and muscles are coming back. Don't get me wrong its been hell. And of lot of work to get this far. His staff is great. Jode expeshaly.

My son hurt his ankle playing basketball and Dr. Liu was able to schedule my son the next day, which was very important to assess if he broke a bone or strained the tendons/ligaments. I was greeted at the desk and signed in for my appointment. I was late because I had the wrong address. I was seen without waiting more than 10min. The nurse showed me to a room and informed me that I needed an X-ray. The X-ray technician was there quickly and took me to X-ray. She took the X-ray and walked me back to the exam room. Great doctor. Superlative surgical skills. I went to Dr Liu for an uncommon (<1%) and severe knee joint break with a crushed/depressed tibial plateau. Dr. Liu was able to avoid traditional open reduction (giant incision) and perform the complex and delicate repair work entirely arthroscopically thus minimizing pain and recovery time, chance of complications (too many benefits to list) and outcome. I had surgery for a torn rotator cuff, in Dr. Liu's words, more of a reconstruction than a repair. He worked magic! Everyone I talked to said this is the most painful surgery they had ever had. I absolutely did not have that experience. Minimal pain, I only took 3 pain pills, the first 3 nights, and mainly to help me sleep. 5 months after surgery, and lots of physical therapy, my shoulder is almost back to 100%. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Liu, and everyone I have dealt with at Advanced Orthopedics has been absolutely amazing. Thank you all for all you do!

I had a soccer accident where I tore my ACL and went to see Dr. Liu, he told me I had a torn ACL and had me get an MRI which confirmed a ACL tear.
I had my surgery on the 01/10/2020, my family and myself are very happy with Dr. Liu and his staff pre op and post op.
They made sure I was doing doing before I left the surgery center. Had my follow up on 01/20/2020 and again the staff and the Dr. Were more then amazing. His staff is extremely caring.
I dont know about these people taking they waited for 2-3 hours to be seen or get feelings hurt that he tells them they need to exercise more.
He is very honest and tells you how it is.

Extra special perfect visit. I had both knees replaced in the last year. Dr Liu and staff are excellent. I had a complete recovery from surgery and am back to doing my outdoor activities. All I can say is, WOW, what a Dr.! CLEARLY he HAD to have graduated first in EEVRYTHING. It was my very first surgery outside of a tonsillectomy and having wisdom teeth pulled. Lol. My surgery and the recovery are going so much better than I anticipated and I believe it is because of Dr. Liu's professionalism, skill, his staff and their daily check ups via the internet. He is highly thought of by the hospital, their staff and the physical therapists. I highly recommend him!

Dr Liu 's office seems to be on top of everything. There is little waiting, he uses advance technology to keep in touch with his patients daily. With the Health loop monitoring after surgery there is no wondering if there is a problem. You always have instant contact. Orthoscopic knee surgery went very well. I would recommend Dr Liu to anyone. Outstanding job.

He has worked on both of my knees and done a fantastic job on them. Now that both are fixed, hopefully I won't need to see him as much when I am finished with PT. Dr. Liu is pretty awesome.

He was very professional and on top of what was happening with his patients. I felt everything was done correctly and by the book. I never waited more then 15 minutes at my appointments. I also felt he followed up with me daily after my surgery.

Dr. Liu and his team have always taken great care of me! They have seen me through several surgeries and each time the care was wonderful. He and the team make sure all my questions are answered before, during and after. I would not trust anyone else with any of my orthopedic needs.
