Megan Bichsel PA-C
Megan graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Physician Assistant program in 2008. She joined Advanced Orthopedics team and started her career here in Las Vegas. Megan has had an interest in sports medicine since her Orthopedic Surgeon was her mentor in high school. Megan was a competitive swimmer in high school and continues to compete on a national level today. Outside of swimming she enjoys running, competing in triathlons, and attending live music in her free time. Megan is also a mother to a spirited little boy and spends her time working on philanthropic projects with the Junior League of Las Vegas.

I’ve gotten injections in the knee before first time for gel and first time with Megan. Let me tell you I felt nothing. A simple prick and that was all. I definitely recommend that if you need knee injection Megan is the one to see 5 stars

Megan is up-beat and friendly. and always professional by asking if I have any more questions. She never rushes yiu. She had a student with her, I believe her name was Emly, she did my, and she did my injection , and did it well. Also very professional . I’m all about helping students, so was happy she had the opportunity with me! I do not care for Dr Lui, but the rest of the staff is exemplary!

Megan is terrific! Took the time listening to my shoulder symptoms, isolated the problem to my bicep tendon (after a frozen shoulder) and did an injection into the tendon. Shoulder has much more flexibility today, will start exercises and stretches tomorrow! Thanks Megan! See you in 6 weeks!

I was fully expecting to meet the new provider and hear I’d have to have a surgery. I was delighted when she offered an injection first and to treat conservatively for now. Megan knows what she’s doing. Has been doing the gel shots in my knees for several years. Also diagnosed bursitis in my hip a few months ago and did the right treatment for it. Other docs were saying it was arthritis.

Megan saw me after I injured my hip exercising. She was empathetic and concerned. My pain level was high but my symptoms did not lead to an easy diagnosis. Megas immediately ordered appropriate tests and met with me quickly as results were available. After assuring both herself and me I did not have a serious injury requiring surgery Megan suggested heat and Tylenol. My symptoms are slowly going away. Thanks so much!
